When a microchip is implanted, Emergency Pets uploads the information to the website, through the web portal, and issues a microchip certificate card.
It's an electronic animal identification system. It consists of two parts: one is the microchip itself and the other is the capsule that encloses it. This capsule is made of soft glass, coated with a biofilm (it doesn't cause allergies) and is as small as a grain of rice. All the microchips we register must comply with ISO 11784/85 FDX-B standards and the ICAR code.
The microchip comes in a sterile syringe that serves as an applicator, and is only 8 mm long and is applied subcutaneously.
